Our mission is simple: make authentic Italian sauces bursting with flavour and free from synthetic additives.
We do the slow-cooking so you don't have to, giving you a fridge full of real, delicious food that’s ready to heat and eat, real fast.


OUR STORY
ROWDY was born in our kitchen, out of a shared love for authentic flavours, an obsession with real ingredients and an unwillingness to accept industrial shortcuts.
We are Daniel, a British-Ghanaian Londoner, and Lara, a Milan-born, Italian.
Like most Italian households, Lara grew up around the dinner table, sharing fresh, home-cooked meals daily. Her dad was known for wildly creative pasta sauces, and her mum mastered the classics, especially Bolognese Ragù, a nod to her roots in Bologna.
After moving to London and marrying Daniel, Lara began recreating the sauces of her childhood. Daniel quickly joined her in the kitchen, and cooking together became their favourite daily ritual. But when it came to pasta sauce, Daniel could never quite replicate that perfect ragù on his own. He wished he could just buy a version that tasted like hers... but store-bought sauces are always full of sugar, artificial additives, and taste nothing like the real thing.
That’s when the light bulb went off:
What if we made flavour-packed, clean-label, ready-to-use sauces based on authentic Italian family recipes?
Made the proper way - slowly, in small batches, with only real ingredients.
So, ROWDY was born - for people like us, who love real, simple, food with all of the flavour and none of the compromise.
